Interesting facts about me
Hrmmm... What can I say about myself.
Ok, basically, I'm an anthropologist by hobby (and undergraduate degree). I taught briefly at a private school, and am now certified to teach middle and high school science in Georgia. I'm a yank at heart (except when it comes to baseball, when I'm a Bosox
). I plan to teach middle school science, and maybe some other subjects, for some
indefinite amount of time... But my ultimate goal is to go back and get MORE schooling: next time it'll be a Masters in Divinity. I'm hoping to work
towards ordination in the United Methodist church. But no, I don't want to be your typical preacher - fancy this, I want to do youth ministry (makes sense,
right?). OK, so that's all about my education and career goals, but I actually think it gives you some pretty good insight into who I am.
I'm an insatiable reader, particularly in the fantasy genre... I fancy myself a bit of a writer, though I haven't produced anything worthwhile in ages, and have never tried to get anything published. My other hobbies involve cats (don't have any right now, desperately miss them) and sports. I'm insane when it comes to the Red Sox, and only slightly less fanatical about the Patriots. I enjoy (sometimes, not so much currently) the Nebraska Cornhuskers. And during college baseball season, I like the FSU Seminoles. Err, the only thing I don't really engage in (of the big sports) is March Madness. I used to play Lacrosse, miss it terribly. Hopefully will get back into that, and perhaps horses, some day.

Nice profile! I really have nothing cool to say. I just saw that you're currently living in Georgia but appear to be a transplanted yankee? I lived in GA for 3 years about a decade ago (Acworth/Marietta area), so I just had to say hi! Ah, Friday nights without anything to do is how this results. ;)
